Speeding up file copying and shutdown times are evidently the first order of business to put some shine on the OS that has met a tepid reception critically and commercially. Many firms and corporations having been waiting for this service pack before even contemplating upgrading to Vista, which is why Microsoft may have pushed it from their announced 2008 release date.
